If life evolved without a conscious design and some scientists claim to understand the process, can we reproduce or simulate it?

Let’s start from the most basic single-celled organism, since some people claim that evolution is separate from abiogenesis.

Now, simulate via computers the evolution of that single-celled organism until it reaches the point like today — complex organisms exist like humans, animals, etc. with diverse features and seemingly well-distributed characteristics.

The code should not contain anything specific to features, characteristics that will intentionally produce like anything specific to that we see today. Meaning, the code should be generic enough to embody what is being claimed as the process of evolution that works without a conscious design.
